An Angels' Kiss

I saw an Angel fall last night
out of the sky above...
I asked her why she cried those tears
she said she'd lost her love...
It was a very depressing site,
she could no longer sing...
She tried to fly back home but found
that she had a broken wing...
I mended it, but even then
when she tried again to depart...
I found a much more serious problem,
someone had broken her heart...
Just then I saw a heavenly light
shine down from far above...
He came to her and called her back
and said it was her he loved...
A beautiful light shone forth from her head
like Roses that bloom in May...
And he swept her up into his arms
and lovingly they flew away...
It was a site I'll remember for all my life
and always remember this:
Nothing can heal a broken heart
like an Angels' kiss...

To Love An Angel
The Angel came to me one night,
when I was very sad...
She said she had come to thank me
for helping her when no one else had...
She saw a tear fall from my eye
and looked at me in dismay...
And just as soon as she had come
she quickly flew away...
I really didn't understand
I thought she didn't care...
But it wasn't long after she left
that I heard someone was there...
She understood the pain I felt
for she had felt it too...
And she did the only thing
that she could think to do...
I saw a figure there in the dark
and before he stepped into the light...
I knew that my Angel had sent him here
she was trying to set things right...
She had sent me an Angel to stop my tears
from the beautiful Heavens above...
She tried to help me the way she knew how
by replacing the sorrow with love...
And I truly did love him, that I knew
as I felt my heart drown in his eyes...
And he lifted me up into his arms
and we sored into the skies...
I finally knew for the first time in my life
that I would never again be alone...
And then I had a strange feeling, and I saw
that I had grown wings of my own...
We flew together on the current of love
and finally felt whole...
And then he surprised me, yet again
and kissed me, and touched my soul...
The moral of the story is the same as the first
And forevermore is this:
Nothing can heal a broken heart
like the power of an Angels' kiss...

Angels' Prayer
I say my prayers each day and I
repeat them every night...
Because I know that when I do
my life will be alright...
Somehow the Angels comfort me
whenever I have tears...
And always the encourage me
to overcome my fears...
I tell them all of my troubles when
they seem too much to bear...
And I put my faith and confidence
in their almighty care...
With all of life's daily problems
I know that they are on my side...
They will be there for my forever
to love, to rule and to forever guide...
So I say my prayers real slowly
and I mean each word I say...
Because I need the Heavens above
to hear me when I pray...

An Angel Gets Her Wings
Can you imagine holding an Angel by her hand
As you march to the sound of an Angelic band...
Oh God, please let this be real
Because I can't explain the pleasure that I feel...
My life on earth has come to an end
But don't be sad, my dear friend...
Life in Heaven is full of laughter
Tell my Family I couldn't be happier...
You wouldn't believe the beauty of those pearly gates
That's where my family that left before waits...
At once inside you hear the Angels sing
As God gives you your Angel wings...
Angel wings are softer than anything you know
They're softer than silk, lighter than snow...
I love to feel them by my side
But the ultimate is when I open them to fly...
