Bike Trip June 2002
For many years I have thought about how cool it would be to travel cross country on a motorcycle. In June of 2002, I got my chance. On the morning of June 8th, Daniel Boles, an invincible 25 year old from Tryon, NC, and I started out from my home in Atlanta, GA. We rode together to Flagstaff, AZ and then back to Shreveport, LA. From there Daniel went to New Orleans and I rode back to Atlanta. I put over 5200 miles on my bike in the nearly 3 week trip. Our exploits can be read in the Journal entries.
