Canary Yuki
Yuki got his name by his snowy white colour. He is healthy and has many gestures. He recognized his name and response fast. I like his song most! Like a music box, soothing and relax.
But if I let him fly free in the house, he is the most trouble one - never get back his cage and starts a 'Seesaw Battle' with me! (Usually, Canary can't stand hungry for an hour, but he can!) Well, he never win... Only his wide-opened cage is welcoming him with food!
Birds might not sing when they are shedding their plumages (molting), they feel uncomfortable and are weak. More attentions are needed. Give them a piece of cuttle bone or egg shells (provide calcium and minerals for building new plumages). Avoid them from direct sunlight (strong sunray fades off the new plumages' colour). Normally, after approx. 6-8 weeks they'll sing happily with a beautiful new dressing!
Song of Yuki!
