Though the world is more populated than ever before;
And the fast pace of life is enough to make your ears roar!
Believe it or not, the "net" 
has made the world a smaller place;
Where you can talk and share with your friends who haven't a face!
ONE-ON-ONE
The world may be going at a mind-boggling, frantic pace;
With big cities taking over each and every small space!
The internet may be our salvation for finding 
"real" friends;
Where else do you find one when your busy day ends?
ONE-ON-ONE
Even with all its 
vastness, and millions of different "scenes;
Think about it, and I think you'll see what I mean!
There's a friend or two waiting to hear about your day;
And help you feel better if things went astray!

People worry that the net has made us lose our personal touch;
Who was the last person in your town that cared nearly AS much?
As the unseen, faceless family 
you've acquired here on line;
I can say none = my on-line friends treat me just fine!
