Well..it's that time of year again! Seems like only yesterday we were sipping lemonade on the back porch. Our next few pages will contain some ideas for holiday fare. I can't promise you easy recipes, but I might provide something new or different for you to try this year...we'll see as we read on.
There won't be a need for decorating suggestions, as this is the one season that most homes will reflect. We will, however have some ideas for table settings, along with our menus.
Just as we did for Autumn, we'll be going visiting...and we'll see some old friends too! :o)
We'll be covering celebrations for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and Twelfth Night. I'm afraid there won't be any planning of gala parties....just intimate friends and family type dinners. If you're planning some large buffet parties during the season, you may want to visit The Wine Cellar , and look at some of the previous parties that catered to larger crowds.
Now it's time to go visiting. Our family gathers every year at my brother Michael's house on Christmas Eve. You may recall we visited Michael and his wife Donna, for Ocktoberfest. She made saurbraten...mmmm! They always provide a lovely evening for the family and Santa is guaranteed to stop by and see the children! So, please...open the door and come in!
