| Illustrated applique |

| This small sample quilt is illustrated by outlining the trees with a fine pigma pen and then using a pigma brush to fill in the tree image. I began by using a piece of light coloured bali fabric and drawing the trees in the foreground and then the trees in the back ground. |

| The quilt is enhanced as well by illustrating with quilting. I've outlined the tree with thread using a pogo foot and then the rain drops are signified by the angle of the quilting. |
