Pamela the Keeper of Perfect Pathways
Pamela is a very dominant Angel - rotund in body and spirit and she took over the quilt, placing herself right smack in the centre.......
She was a shearers cook in a former life.
She worked on a sheep station in the Broken Hill area and was renown for her generous lamb roasts and bread and butter pudding.
As a result the shearers said she was an 'Angel.'
Pamela has taken up residence in my garden and is the
"Keeper of Perfect Pathways"
she has great difficutly in keeping the paths 'neat' and can be seen on any evening herding the native ducks who scuff up the gravel.
If there is a very stubborn duck, she pops it in her basket and takes it down the street to the local dam.
She also has problems with the blackbirds who have a wonderful time tap dancing on the bark strips with their spindly yellow legs.......
So.........
Pamela has devised a method of making cute little bird houses to place in strategic places in the garden purely for the residence of the blackbirds.......
As yet they are unoccupied.!!!!!!!
