The ponies bring us a great amount of pleasure.  Basically they are just pets and are quite happy roaming the fields and grazing to their hearts content.  The two Shetlands were purchased from a neighbouring farm during December 1997 when they were almost nine months of age.  Rouridh and Skye share the same sire, due to Rouridh's colouring we decided to name him for his father.  Rouridh and Skye's mother's  along with their sire are very well bred and have their stud book numbers.

Angel, the Welsh Mountain Pony was bought in partnership from Stirling Horse Sales July 2000, she had a very smart 8 week old filly foal at foot.  When it was time for the foal to be weaned, Angel was brought to me.  May 2001 brought a surprise to us, another filly foal was born to Angel, we named her Joy.

Due to legislation all our ponies now have their passports and are micro chipped.
