There is always a fire in the kitchen here at the school. As one of the best facilities in town for cooking large numbers catering has become a little business at the school as various school groups raise money for sports, grad, Europe 2000 and many other functions. Three complete kitchens, several store rooms and a food preparation area make all of this possible.
The kitchen is located just off the shop and the textiles room.

The kitchen contains many modern appliances such as mini pizza ovens, microwaves, stoves, food processors and much more. Dry goods arrive by barge in the fall to be used for home economics programs at the school. This saves money in shipping and makes it possible to have most of The supplies need present. The remained are purchased at one of the two stores in town. |
