RANSIER/RANCIER/RANTIZER-This famiy was German Loyalists from Schoharie, New York, United States who received land in Kingston. They later moved to Storrington Twp, later to Befored. In 1920's, several families lived near Westport by Bob's Lake and in Bolingbroke. I have a grandfather, Seth RANSIER who is buried near Bolingbroke. REA-Looking for any info on REAS living in the county in the 1845-1850 period. My great grandmother's first child was baptized in Kingston Presbyterian church 11849. She had married George CLARK but I can't find where. He has been stationed at Ft. Henry in 1844 and was discharged from the 93rd Highlanders of the English army in Montreal in July 1844. SCOTT-Noble Scott b. abt 1808 immigrated to Kingston area and in Pittsburgh Twp from Belfast, Ireland in the early 1840's, his wife's name was Mary WELSH. Their children were: James, Elizabeth, William, Thomas, John, Noble, Mary Ann, Adam and Andrew. I know that Thomas, Noble, John and William eventually left the area but I think the rest of them stayed there. William married Isabella MAITLAND in Pittsburgh Twp.
