Well folks this is me.  Tell me now, do I look anything like you imagined
I would look?  It's funny isn't it how we get a picture in our mind of what
someone looks likes before we get to see them.  Usually they look nothing
like we imagined they would.  I wonder what you thought I would look like.
If you have read my Home Page then you will already know  quite a lot about me.
Let me tell you a little more.

I was born in Glasgow, Scotland but spent most of my younger years in
London, England.  I have been living in Australia since 1970.  I am very
happily married to a wonderful man named Bill.  Bill was born in Holland
but has lived  in Australia since he was eighteen.  Both having been married
before, we each had a family before we met.  Bill has four children all grown
up and between them they have given us eight grandchildren.

I have a daughter named Win who is married to a great guy called Bruce.
They have three teenage sons, David, Andrew and Matthew and they are just
the loveliest family. Not that I am biased of course.
I also have a son named Chris and he and his sweetheart Kirsten married last year.
Two more very special people in my life.  I am so blessed. Thank you Lord Jesus.

We have had a lot to adjust to in our marriage,  as it isn't easy merging two families,
but God is so good.  He chose Bill for me so He has always been there to help us when
problems came along.  Being a Christian doesn't make you immune to problems, it just means
that you have someone to take your problems to. Of course you do have to remember to take
them to Him.  God will let you "muddle through" on your own,if that is what you want to do,
He gave us a free will so He will never force you to do anything, but He is always there to
help you if you are prepared to ask .

God has blessed us in many ways and protected us from harm on a number of occasions.
If you haven't already given God control over your marriage I encourage you to do so,
He can help you where no one else can..  Of course it does require some work on your part too,
but He will help you there also.  I would be happy to share further with anyone who wants to
know a little more about how God can work in a marriage, providing you are willing
to do your part.  Please feel free to email me.

Bill is retired now, so we get to spend our days together.  We are ,if anything more in love now,
than we were when we first met. Like most couples in love we have a song we call "Our" song,
it is "You light up my life"  and that is the way we feel about one another.  God gave us something special when He gave us each other, yet it took us a few years to realise that.  Now we thank God every day for each other and also for the way He helped us to persevere with our marriage, even when we didn't always feel like it.  Dear Friends if right now you are finding the going tough in your marriage, please let me encourage you to reach out to God, place your marriage in His very capable hands, and then trust Him to help you the way He helped us.  He is just waiting for you to ask Him.

If you don't yet know Jesus as you Lord and Saviour then I suggest that the first thing you do
is to ask Jesus into your heart. There is a simple prayer on my Home page that will help you
to do that.  If you do pray this prayer please bless me by letting me know.
I would really appreciate that.

I pray the Lord's richest blessing upon all who read this page. My prayer is that it will
in some way be of help to someone out there.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and
God Bless You.
