In November '98 Mummy, Daddy, and
I went to an island in Fiji called Tavarua. I was really excited because this was my
first real holiday! It was heaps of fun! I wasn't too sure about swimming
in the ocean to start with, all those waves sloshing in my face all the time made me
a little nervous, but once I got used to it I kept Mummy busy trying to catch me before I
got to the ocean.
Daddy really enjoyed himself because he
got to go surfing with his friends and not have to worry about his boat or his passengers.
Mummy said she enjoyed it too. She got to catch up with her friend Diana and hang
out under the palapas (umbrellas on the beach) in the afternoon with Diana and the other
ladies there.
I got to play with all the great Fijian
people there and my special friend Anna looked after me for a couple of hours in the
afternoons. The people were all so nice and even sang their pretty Fijian songs for
me! I sure hope we go back there soon.
On our way home from Fiji we stopped in
Sydney, Australia for a couple of days. I got to see my Gramma and heaps more
relatives that I haven't seen since I was a little baby. Mummy was going to put the
pictures on this page but she thought it might take too long to load with all these
pictures so she has added another Sydney page.
Just click on the picture of Sydney.

Here's a couple of pictures of us
on Tavarua.

Hmmm..Now lets see, how does Daddy
open this thing?

This is me and Anna.

If you look real hard you can see
me clapping hands.

With a toosh this cute who needs a
swimsuit!

This is my Daddy! I can't
wait to go surfing with him. Mummy says I'll really enjoy it, I think she's just looking
forward to having some time to read a book on the beach!
