1922 Due to unfortunate circumstances 5 of 7 children of a family member was placed in the Jacsonville, Riverside Orphanage back in 1922. The youngest girl was only 6 months old and so she was adopted almost immediately. Her brother conducted a lifelong search for his sister with no luck. He died several years ago and the remaining family members would like to take up his search. She would be 76 years old now and she could still be alive....if so we would like to know and if not we would also like to know that also. I feel like the records should be opened after 75 years but we don't know what to do first. We understand the orphanage burned several years ago...this is only hearsay. Any help you could give us would be appreciated.
