3/16/46 A white Female Adoptee ISO Any BirthFamily. Born in Tampa Fl. Birth last name Ballard. Date of Adoption was 6/2/47 I was 1 year and 3 months at the time of the final decree. Adoption Agency was the Children's Home of Tampa At early age I had a strawberry about the size of a quarter on the left upper chest just below left breast. It faded over the years. Recent family physician said I appeared to have been delivered assisted by use of forecepts. Disfigurement in roof of mouth. Dr. R. Cummings, City of Hope, CA diagnosed me with Tourette's Syndrome, said it was not unusual in adopted children, usually one or both B-parents have TS gene which is hereditary. I was born 10 weeks premature weighing 4 lbs. 1 oz. There are no siblings. Pearl was pregnant one time 25 years prior which child was premature also and did not survive. After two weeks incubation in the hospital I was originally placed in the adoption of Marjorie and Quinton Miles from Alabama, also in Florida on vacation and lived next door to Pearl. The Miles subsequently divorced with Marjorie returning to Alabama. I was relinquished to Children's Home, Inc. Tampa, Florida and on 6/6/46 placed with another adoption which was Final Decreed in 1947. I do not know any information regarding extended family of either Pearl or bDad.
