Female baby born on May 14, 1957 in Miami, Dade County ,
Florida
Born between 7:00 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. Birth mother was not
married and had
never been married. I was the first child born to birth
mother. After the
birth, my birth mother returned to her home state in the
Northeast . She
also wrote a short letter to the Case Worker on July
19,1957, explaining
that she did not feel as if she could provide for me alone
and that marriage
to my birth father was not possible. She also stated that
she was to be
married to someone else and that her future husband was not
receptive to
raising a child that was not his own.
My birth mother stated in her letter that adoption for me
had been the plan
throughout her pregnancy and when she told her doctor that
she wanted to
place the baby up for adoption, it was her physician who
referred her to Mr.
James H. Earnest. It was Mr. Earnest that found my adoptive
parents Mr. and
Mrs. Conrad M. Rizer. It was also Mr. Earnest who took my
birth mothers
Consent for adoption the day after I was born; on May 15,
1957.
My birth mother was born in a resort center in a
Northeastern state in the
fall of 1937, which made her 20 years old at the time of my
birth, she was
of English-Irish decent and she was Presbyterian. She was
the oldest of
three children born to her parents. She had one younger
brother, who was 17
years old at the time of my birth, and a sister who was 16
years old at the
time of my birth both of her siblings were students in
school, the brother
was in the tenth grade and the sister was in the ninth
grade. Her brother
also worked part time as a bell hop.
My birth mother described herself as being five feet, four
inches tall
weighing 122 pounds. She had brown hair and eyes and a fair
skin complexion.
She was a high school graduate and she had completed one
year of college. At
the time of my birth, she was employed as a PBX operator and
receptionist.
She listed her special talents, she was a dancer. She stated
that she
enjoyed art and water-skiing. Her father was 49 years old
when I was born,
and at the time of my birth he was employed as the owner of
a bar, He had a
tenth grade education.
Her mother completed the eight grade and she was employed as
a bar maid, and
was 40 years old at the time of my birth. My birth mother
also stated that
both of her parents were aware of her pregnancy and were
supportive of her
plans to place me up for adoption.
My birth father was not named on my birth certificate, he
was born in 1934
and was of Polish descent and was of the Presbyterian
faith.At the time of
my birth he was not married. My birth knew about the
pregnancy, but did not
assist my birth mother in any way during her pregnancy. My
birth father
lived-in Florida for about a year before I was born. He was
described as
being five feet, ten inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He
had blue eyes,
blond hair and a fair complexion. In 1957 He had completed
three years of
college, in addition to his college work he served in the

This is all the non-identifying information that I have
about my birth
family. I hope it will help some-how? I would like to find
one or both birth
Parents, or maybe my birth Uncle or Aunt ( mentioned ) or
any other blood
relatives, or any information leading to them.
Thank You so much, Thanks again,
