10/23/56 My birth mother is English and German descent, maternally. she is Proestant.she was very attractive women with gray-hazel-blue eyes, dark hair with naturally wavy , fair to med complexion with a few freckles, weighing 120-125 lbs. Round face, smiled easily and sparkeled with enthusiasm. She had her tonsils and adenoids removed when she was about 9 years old. She mentioned that her maternal grandmother may have had cancer prior to her death. She completed the 12th grade and her best subjects were science and did not enjoy math. She worked on the school paper and maybe wanted to be in journalism. She swam, golfed, played tennis, water skied, and skated both ice and roller. My birth mother was probally 19 or 20 when she had me. She was neat and cleanin dress and carried an air of being brought up well. She wes very outgoing. MY birth father mationality was unknown. He had brown eyes and dark hair, med. complexion and a med. built. He had two years of college. His education was interrupeted by illness. His father was a retired railroad employee. He owned a ranch which had cattle,horses, & dogs were raised. My birth mother and father were to be married on May 4, 1956 but the day before the wedding my birth father eloped with an old girlfriend. She had a younger brother with blonde hair and brown eyes and a med. complexion. He did not care for school and was kept back in the 5th grade for a good foundation in math. I believe he might have joined the army. Most of her mothers friends were unaware that they were not married, but a few of her closest friends knew the truth. I was sent to a foster home on october 29th and adopted on December 13th 1956. dnewsome@mindspring.com
