DOB 12- 6 or 7-52 In Jacksonville at St Lukes Hospital. I was released at three days of age to my foster parents (a mr and mrs arthur). I stayed with them until January 20, 1954 at which time I went to live with my adoptive parents. My adoption was finalized on March 26th, 1955 at 3pm. recorded in Official record book 10 page 224 in the Hendry County, LaBelle Circuit court.(was also told that my adoption was finalized on March 13th instead of 26th) Judge Lynn Gerald (deceased) Judge Circuit Court. William C. Owens Attorney or record (retired) Talked to him about 3 years ago. He does not have access to the files from the office he worked in. According to a letter that was given to my a-parents unpon my adoption--the relinquishment papers and any other papers that had my bmoms name on it is in the juvenile court in Jacksonville. My bmom did not sign my adoption papers until May 21st 1953. My bmom is reported to be a natural blonde, petite with hazel eyes.(was also told that she had green eyes). She completed the 8th grade and was a waitress. She left school to get married. SHe had one daughter from that marriage in 1949. She was in the process of a divorce when I was born. Her husband was not my father. She and my half sister were living with my grandparents at the time of my birth. In May of 53 she married another man. My half sister continued to live with the grandparents. My bmom was the youngest of four children. SHe had a brother that was 31 at the time of my birth. A sister that was 25 and a sister that was 23. My bmom was 20. Her mom was English and Dutch and her father was Dutch and Irish. Bmom named me Susan but have been told that this is not the only name I had. Agency that handled the adoption was CHS (Children's Home Society) I know that I also have a sibling that was placed for adoption via "independant means". I had chicken pox at three months of age. I am a bmom as well as an adoptee. I am ISO identical twin sons born on May 28, 1972. THey were born in Savannah at Memorial Hospital. Supposedly they were adopted into the atlanta area by a doctor and his wife. The wife gave up teaching in order to adopt both boys. I was in the Flo Critt in Savannah for about 5 months. My boys were in the hospital for about 6 weeks due to their tiny weights. I was allowed to visit them every week until they were brought back to the augusta, ga area. I was then allowed to hold them for the one and only time before they went to their a-parents. I placed a silver cross on each boys lapel. I named them Jonathan Lee and Jeffrey Michael. THey weighed either 3-6 and 4-11 or 3-11 and 4-6. I am also a reunited bmom with my daughter since 1995. As well I am reunited with my youngest son who was kidnapped from me when he was just under 2 years of age.
