03/18/63 I am helping my mother to find her son, born on or around March 18, 1963, at Tampa General Hospital. My mother was aresident of the Salvation Army Booth House on Lake Ellen in Tampa ( an unwed mothers home). Her son was born in TampaGeneral Hospital. The attending physician, I believe, was Dr. Carla Dubois, an ob/gyn resident. The adoption was handledthrough Catholic Charities of Tampa. My mother's caseworker was a student from Fordham University, doing an internship atCatholic Charities. The director of Booth House was Mrs. Pearson. The baby was given to the adoptive parents within 10 daysof birth. My mother gave him the name Richard Bruce.
