A Male Adoptee ISO Any Birth Relative born in Ft. Lauderdale at Broward County General Hospital
delivered by a Dr.Miliken sometime in the PM hours. Birthmother was 16 at the time of my birth
(born in 1945 somewhere in the south). Her last know address was as of January, 1962, Fort Lauderdale,
FL she was a 10th Grade dropout - taking typing and shorthand classes. Birthfather was 19 (born in
1942)and believed to be a high school student (11th grade) at the time of birth of the child.
No known occupation.A Personal Message To My Birthparent: I am fine, 35 years old and a college
graduate. I am married with two children, a son 16 yrs, and a daughter, 14 yrs. As you can
tell, I had children young too. I am in the US Military and therefore I move quite a bit. I am
not mad, or distressed, but would like you to know you did the right thing. I am interested in
you and how you are. My adoptive mother passed away in July 1995, and I've been searching for
documents and information ever since. I din't hate my adoptive family, and I don't hate my birth
family. There are things I would like to know. Currently I am in good health, but my birth
father's bronchitis concerns me - as I am a smoker. My adoptive mother died of cancer, my
adoptive father is overwieght and suffers from diabetes; but niether of those conditions affect
me - and I would like to know if there is a medical condition I should be aware of. If direct
contact is not desirable, please contact the Florida Department of Rehabilitative Svc!s for indirect contact. I have an adoptive brother (whom is also adopted) and he has re-united
with his birth family - and while nervous and anxious about it - all are quite happy. I do not
want to be an intrusion - and will not attempt to interfere in you lives if that is what you
want. Please let me hear from you.
