Representatives are needed from each state to help get the word out
Agenda
- Increased public awareness with respect to autism;
- Increased funding to NIH for autism research;
- "Compassionate Use" status for secretin from the FDA;
- A federal "Autism Registry" to monitor federally funded autism research;
- "FAST TRACK" status for all autism research;
- Recognition of autism as a 'neurobiological disorder" for the purpose of insurance coverage; and
- Revisions to present insurance laws as they relate to coverage issues
