• Increased public awareness with respect to autism;
• Increased funding to NIH for autism research;
• "Compassionate Use" status for secretin from the FDA;
• A federal "Autism Registry" to monitor federally funded autism research;
• "FAST TRACK" status for all autism research;
• Recognition of autism as a 'neurobiological disorder" for the purpose of insurance coverage; and
• Revisions to present insurance laws as they relate to coverage issues
