This prayer is only meant to be a guide. Once you've read the prayer and feel comfortable, make the prayer your own. Talk to God, our Heavenly Father, as you would anyone you love. He loves you more than you'll ever know, so be at ease and ask Him to help you, and He will!

Heavenly Father, I need you.
I come to you now to confess my sins and accept your son, Jesus, as my Savior.
I cannot save myself. I realize now that I need you and I want to live for you.
I want you to be part of my life. I give my life to you now, Father.

Jesus, please come into my heart and forgive me for my sins.
I accept your gift of grace, eternal life, and I thank you for dying on the cross for me.
I want my life to be different. I want to be different.
I know that you, Jesus, are "...the way, the truth and the life."

Father, thank you for saving me and loving me.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

My best advice to you is to tell someone close to you about your salvation, find a church that will welcome you and teach you the Word of God and READ THE BIBLE! If you don't have one, ask for one at church. I have found that The Living Bible is the easiest to understand. A different version, like the New International Version or one of the other translations would be better for memorizing verses, but for reading, The Living Bible is very easy to follow and understand. Pray and read your Bible everyday! Make it a part of your life. Reading the Bible will teach and guide you in your christian walk and spending time in prayer will open your heart to God and He will begin to move in your life.
