Park Ranger - Walking Tour
On Tuesday, we all took the shuttle bus to Eielson, a 4-hour one-way trip. Cars are not allowed in the Park after the 15 mile marker. We all boarded the bus at 8:30. The driver gives a running commentary. She said we should all keep on the look-out for animals and if you see any yell "stop". We saw falcons, dall sheep, caribou, and grizlies.
The bus made rest stops about every hour. At Eielson, Fred, Jane, Jimmy and Carol stayed for a ranger led walk and went back on another bus.
