On Saturday, after breakfast, Dave and Mary, Pat and Jane and Fred. Drove up the road to the Crow Creek Mine. You could rent a pan to pan for gold, but none of us did. We took the walking tour of the restored miner's village that included a Blacksmith's Shop, Mess Hall, Bunk house, and other buildings. We walked down to the stream where some were panning for gold.
We then drove to the tram to ride it to the top of the mountain. We met up with the Louden's - Amy, Jen and baby, and Carol. The cost of the ticket included a lunch. There was a restaurant at the top that provided the lunch. Some of us had the soup in hollowed out bread. See Fred and Jane's lunch in photo.
