SOFT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

2 cups butter, softened
1-1/2 cups sugar
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
5 cups flour
1-1/2 tsps baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 T molasses
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup water
12 oz pkg chocolate chips

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In large mixing bowl, beat together butter, sugars, and molasses until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, and water. Beat well. Add flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time, mixing until combined. Add chocolate chips. Line baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray. Drop by level measuring tablespoon onto baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for about 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove foil from baking sheets and allow cookies to cool on the foil. Peel cookies off when cooled and store in airtight container. Makes about 4 dozen.
