GINGERED BABY CARROTS

2 lbs baby carrots
2 T sugar
2 tsps cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup orange juice
2 T butter

Cook carrots in boiling water until tender; keep warm. Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, and ginger in a saucepan. Gradually add orange juice, stirring well. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add butter and stir well. Pour over carrots, and toss to coat.
