About 25 minutes east of Springfield there is a farm that would be a great site for Heartland Farms, and has many things to offer such as;
a big red barn with large hay loft, indoor stalls, tack rooms, an open area for livestock, and an end drive through area for equipment.
a two-sided pole barn with a feeder in the center.
an insulated workshop with wood stove and electricity and several outdoor equipment stalls attached.
a two-part insulated milk barn including a bathroom, that would be great for a bunkhouse with a separate rec. room and walk-in cooler and freezer to store the Farm's harvest in.
several fenced pens & fields to pasture cattle, horses, and various kinds of farm animals.
a large open hayfield that would be great to use for trail riding, more pasture for livestock, a large garden, vineyard, and orchard area.
a rock spring house with the spring flowing from it year around.
This farm sits on 74 beautiful acres, and is located on a paved dead end road that is easy to get to, but in the midst of peace and quiet. It is a great setting for Heartland Farms. Now we need to share our vision about Heartland Farms with all of those people in our lives that want to make a difference like we do. We know in our hearts though, that if this is the place that is suppose to be Heartland Farms, it will happen. If it is not, we have faith that God will lead us to another perfect Farm for this blessing to take place. |
