Julia Catherine Conlin and Edward Joseph Duryee, my 2nd great-grandparents

Julia Catherine Conlin November 29, 1860-August 12, 1915

Edward Joseph Duryee July 15, 1856-January 6, 1922

Edward and Julia were the parents of five children, including my great-grandfather Raymond Vincent Duryee.  They were married on December 12, 1883 in Sidney, Nebraska.  Although Edward was born in Brooklyn and Julia was born in Canada to Irish immigrants, they settled in Nebraska for the remainder of their lives.

Edward worked as a rural mail carrier and assistant postmaster in Lexington, Nebraska..  This is a picture of him with his delivery carriage.
