Marilyn successfully retired after the Jan. 2008 Willamette Valley Great Dane Club Specialty. This stunning girl received an Award of Merit and Best Veteran. At the age of 8 she still has the spirit of a true show dog and truly enjoyed her last debut. 
Our dear Marilyn is retired after a triumphant career in the conformation ring owner handled, but she hasn't retired from our hearts.
Marilyn surely has the Heart of Gold we named our kennel after, she's always ready to offer kisses and a good lean. All of our danes are known for their longevity, Marilyn is 8 years old and still as spry as ever, she still steals the couch whenever possible and will stare you down for a cookie. |
