Another round of unilateral thanks for
the Wing
Command Model Development Forum. <G>. Besides the Excaliber-clas
fighter, the Thunderbolt was another fave in WC3. It
lacked the finesse and agility of the Excals. But it had
firepower and can take a lot more damage, IMO. (The Excals has
the armor as thick as cheap 2-ply toilet paper, IMO. But
considering that they could've re-instated the hated Epees,
I did not complain <G>. At least the guns were powerful.)
I was working on this around the time I was just finishing up my first fanfic (Think WC4 in the "Talespin" universe). So I thought about the idea of creating another Star Command/WC pic.
I, personally, had a lot of fun with the "repaint" job on this *LOL*. I mean, looking at the "teeth" in the nose area and almost instantly, I just thought about making it look like a tiger.
Looking closely in the cockpit, I hope you can make out Mira as the pilot. Ever since I had her as the "pin up" of a Hades-class cruiser, I kept thinking of the idea of Star Command as Confed's fleet and defense against the Kilrathi (or mutant felines that'd escaped Zurg's labs *LOL*).
