The five young men known, as N'Sync were at their large home they all shared in Orlando resting for a month, they had another tour next month, but it wouldn't start till like the 10th of October.
They were all inside sitting around the living room watching TV, they were too busy having fun to watch the TV. Joey was being a clown, along with Chris. Lance, Justin, and JC were laughing their heads off from some joke the two older men had just go done telling and doing.
"You guys are so sick!" JC laughed.
"Yeah, really! You two need to get your heads out of the damn gutter. No wonder the girls run from you when they see ya or even hear ya for that matter." Justin laughed, he was laughin so hard he had tears falling down his face.
Lance had only laughed for like 10 seconeds, the joke was sick, and disgraceful, that Chris and Joey just told. He just sat their in silence, as his four friend's sat their laughing like nuts.
"I swear they act so damn childish sometimes." Lance thought to himself, as he sat their watching them.
The four other men now noticed how quite Lance was and then they shut up when they saw the look on his face. They knew Lance didn't like them sick jokes because he'd laugh for no more then five to ten seconeds and then would be sick of it.
"God, What crawled up your butt and died?" Chris asked Lance jokingly.
"Can't you even take a joke?" Joey asked. "No, their dumb and pointless and sick." He said. "That's what makes them funny." Justin said, as the tears from laughter still rolled down his cheek. "Not really, they pointed the joke at ME!" Lance snapped. "Take a chill pill" Jc said, as he took a deep breath, so he wouldn't crack up again. "Screw this crap, I'm going uptown for a while." Lance said, as he got up and stromed out of the room. "What a baby." Chris said as he watched Lance leave. Lance grabbed his keys and coat and then left the house, slamming the door shut behined him, because he was so pissed off at her friends. Lance drove to a club. He parked his car around back and snuck in the back door where all of the famous people go in. When he got there the place was packed and the music was jammin'. Lance headed over to the bar and then he noticed a girl sitting by herself in the far coner, not doing nothing, but staring at her drink. He stared at her, for a few minutes, then got his drink and casually walked over to her. "Is this seat taken?" he asked, pointing to the spot across from her. She looked up from her drink. "No, you can sit their if ya want." She said. He smiled, then sat down. "What is a pretty girl like you doing her all by yourself?" he asked, taking a sip of his drink. "I wanted to get out of my house, I'm single don't have time to date because of my work." She said, as she took a drink of her wine-cooler. "Oh really? What do you do?" he asked, finding something already in common with the girl. "I'm a story writer. This is like the frist time in 4 weeks I've left my house." She said. "Wow, That's a long time." he took a sip of his drink, "Your a writer? That's facinating." "Yeah, I do FanFiction, I make stuff on vampires, witches, and all the odd stuff." She said. "Fan Fiction?" he asked. "Well I run a story page for boybands and stuff, but I make and sell books on vampires and wiches and stuff." She said. "Oh thats really neat." he smiled big, in hopes that she didn't recongnize him, in which she didn't seem to. "I get a lot of this e-mail asking to make group stories on some group called nsync, but I've never heard of them, so I don't really make the nsync stuff, if I knew mroe on the group, thne yeah I'd be glad to make a story. I like country music more." She said. "So do I. I love Garth Brooks." he said. There was something about her, that he found very attractive, but couldn't quite put his finger on it. "Really? He's my fav too. That and Tim Mcgraw, their my my two favorites." She said. "Yeah. They are all great." he said. "Yep." One of *NSYNC's songs started to play, "Would you like to dance?" Lance asked, extending his hand. "Um...Sure." She said, as she got to her feet and let him lead her to the floor. He took her out and pulled her close, cause the song was 'This I promise you'. She placed her arms arms around his neck, and then felt his hands on her hips, as he pulled her close to him, the dance was slow, it was as if time had slowed down... Lance smiled down at her, He thought she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He liked everything he knew about her so far, from her writing, music tastes, and to the smell of her hair. She noticed soemthing about it, she felt power comming from him, i was stange, she had never noticed this befoure from another person she hung around. He looked deep into her eyes and could tell she was thinking about something, but didn't know what it was. When the song ended they wen back to their seats and sat down. She wanted ot stop time to just think about something, but didn't want to risk it. "So other then writing and music, what other things do you like?" he asked. "Singing, dancing, horse riding, fishing, bike riding, and long walks on the beach." She said. "You just described me." he grinned. "Really?" She asked. "Yep. I love to sing and dance. I also go horse back riding when ever possible and I love going to the beach for walks or to ride jet-ski." he said. "That's cool, it's funny, we've only known eahc over for 15 minutes and we seem to have a lot in common." She said. "Yeah it does. Its funny too, cause everyone tells me that I'm so different." he said. "That's what my friend's tell me." She held out her hand. "My names Heather Ritter, or my friends call me Ritz because of my last name." She said. He shook her hand, "My Names James Lansten Bass, but everyone calls me Lance." "Nice to meet ya, Lance." She said, as she shook his hand and then pulled it back, after they were done. "You too." he took a drink. As they sat their talking about things, three people were watching them, someone nodded to a man over in the shadows to move in and do their thing. The man dressed in black snuck up behined Heather and then pulled out a dagged, with jewls in it. The man raised the dagger and Lance saw it and then he screamed out "NO!" and then something happened when he pointed at the guy, the man in black was sent flying across the room and the dagger almost struck Heather, but Lance grabbed her in time. "Are you okay?" Lance asked, pulling Heather close to his body. Lance looked over to the guy then back at her. She felt her chest heavying up and down, this was the seconed time today she was almsot killed. She knew Lance had some sort of power like her, but his, he was able to move things, her it was freze time. "I don't know..." SHe siad, shaking. "I think we should get out of here." he said, brushing the hair out of her face. She nodded, her body shaking from head to toe. She grabbed her purse and then let Lance led her outside. He pulled her out under a light, "Do you know what they did that?" he asked. "No, but...Befoure I came up here, I had this big Cobra in my room like two men put togher...I thought I was gonna die for sure, but, I don't knwo what happened, it was as if time stopped fo a few minutes." She said. "I knwo it may sound crazy, but I'm still trying to belive it myself." She said. "It don't sound crazy" he put a hand on her shoulder, "I don't think it sounds at all like that." She could tell he didn't belive her and then pushed his hand off her sholder. "Look I have to go..." She walked to where her car was parked, but then stopepd when she heard a hissing sound. "God please tell me that is only the wind and not what I think it is." She thought to herself. Lance crussed himself and then he jogged over to Heather and went to say he was sorry to her, he felt something really strong between the two of the, but didn't know what it was. "Heather look I'm sorry, I can tell you have some things on your mind, so maybe I can see you again next time?" He asked. "Sure, just fallow me so I can write down my phone number for you." She said. "Ok." He smiled at her, and then fallowed her. As they got to Heather's car she saw something go under her car and then she stopped a few feet from it and Lance saw her shaking. "What is it?" He asked, placing a hand on her sholder. "It fallowed me..." She said in a low voice, which showed signs of fear. "What did?" Lance asked. "The Cobra, it's after me, someone or something is out to kill me..." She said, as she began to shake all over. He pulled her close and the he noticed the strong force they both shared, in the other's embrace, what was it? They both had no clue what the force was, but knew whatever it was it made them both stronger, when they were togher. "How about I ive you a lift home, you don't look like your in any shape to drive home." Lance said, as he looked at her. "Alright." She said. Just, as they began to walk away they were both hit from behiend in their backs really hard and then they both sank to the ground in pain from the impact they just had. Lance looked over his sholder and couldn't belive what he was seeing, he saw two Cobra snakes the same size, as Heather had told him. Now the two monsters were making their way over to the two people. "Christ, now what do we do?" Lance thought to himself. Heather raised an eyebrow she looked and Lance and couldn't belive it, she had heard his thoughts! "We have some sort of power, Lance! Maybe if we can use both of ours we can get out of this place in peace!" She said, to him by thought. He couldn't belive it, as well, but he nodded at her. The two large cobra's made their way over to the both of them. She felt Lance take her hand in his and then they both shut their eyes and thought hard on how to destory the monsters. The two Cobra's crept closer to the two, who were on the ground, they were ready to attack when, they skin started to turn into hard rock. When Lance and Heather opened their eyes, they saw two large Cobra statues right in front of them. "It worked!" Lance said, in disbeilf. "I know!" She smiled and then hugged him without even relizeing it. Lance helpped her up to her feet and then he hurried and led Heather to his car and then he got in and drove back to his place for a few to do something. |
