Arrival part 2 - (early march, 2002)

Bizzare thing I should probably let you know. If you've ever seen the new Star Trek show 'Enterprise', you'll get this, and if not, you won't, but it doesn't matter too much.

I didn't have any particular actors or even faces in place when I wrote the characters. I'll state that right off. But suddenly, when doing my second edit - POW! Right out of the blue, I started seeing Private Oakley (Arrival part 2) as being identical to Trip. I don't know why, but suddenly my brain is insisting that Oakley looks and talks just like Commander Charles Tucker the Third. Haircut, accent, the works. I have *no* idea why. (But Connor Trinneer - the actor - is quite cute, for sure!)

And I can't convince my brain otherwise. So that's who you might picture when you read the next part with him . . . I've also gotten a clear picture what Brandan (Homecoming) looks like, but she doesn't physically resemble anyone I know of. Her pattern of thought is entirely based off of too many girls I met in college, however. Bloody mary sues the lot of them!

But Oakley now looks like Trip. Just fyi.
