In Romans 3:23, Paul says, " for there is no distinction; since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". In Romans 5:8, " But God shows us His love for us, that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for US". Even thougb we sin, Jesus died for US, on our behalf~ so that we can be right with God. Our sin earns death, but receiving God's love through Jesus brings eternal life with God. Romans 10:9. " Because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved". God sent Jesus on earth and DID NOT sin. Even so, He was willing to die on a cross in our place, as payment and sacrifice for our personal wrondgoings. Sinner's Prayer: Lord God, I know that Iam a sinner, and I ask your forgiveness for all that I have done wrong in my life. Please forgive me and help me to change my ways. I believe that you sent your perfect and Holy Son; Jesus, to die in my place, and that by accepting your free gift of eternal life I can be saved from the alternative of eternal separation from you. Help me to live my life for you, with Jesus and your Holy Spirit as my guide. Amen. For the Lord Jesus Christ is the only source of divine forgiveness. Almighty God in the Flesh. Jesus said, " This is my blood of the New Covenant, which is poured out for many, for the forgiveness of sins", Matthew 26:28 The Bible tell us that God is Holy and man is sinful. Sin creates a great gulf between the two, which man cannot bridge no matter how good he is. But what does the Bible mean about Sin? It is NOT just lying, cheating, stealing or bieng immoral. Sin is an attitude. it is going one's own way indifferent to God. it is a lack of relationship or fellowship with God. Falling short of God's standards. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is God's only provision for sin. God sent His only Son, who was without sin, without spot or blemish, to give His life, to shed His blood upon the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. In 1 John 5:11-13, " What is it that God has said? That he has given us eternal life, and that this life is in His son, so whoever has God's son, has life. Whoever does not have His son, does not have life. I have written this to you who believe in the Son of God so that you may know you have eternal life". If you have not already received Christ as your Savior and Lord, will you, in the quiet of a moment, surrender your will to Him, invite Him to come into your life, to live His life inside of You ! He will pardon your sin, give purpose to your life, and give you His peace and power. Your life will be forever changed! From the moment you receive Christ as your savior, by faith, as an act of will, many things happen, including the following: Christ comes into your life~ Colossians 1:27 Your sins are forgiven~ Colossians 1:14 You become a child of God~ John 1:12 You receive eternal life~ John 5:24 You begin the great adventure for which God created for you~ John 10:10 Suggestions for spiritual Growth: Go to God in prayer daily Read God's word daily. Obey God moment by moment. Witness for Christ by your life and words. Trust God with every detail of your life. Holy Spirit~ Allow Him to empower you and control your daily life and witness. I believe that millions olf people are unsure of theor relationship with God, simply because they lack information. Christianity is not just a philosphy of life, not just a code of ethics, and not just a standard of performance. Christianity is a personal relationship with the living, all powerful, Creator God through faith in His only Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said, " Those who obey my commandements are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them , and I will love them. And I reveal myself to each one of them". John 14:21 God communicateswith us through the Bible, revealing His character and His will. We communicate with God through prayer, sharing our thoughts, and our needs and desire to do His will. We communicate with Christians through fellowship, encouraging and building up one another. We communicate with others who do not know about God personally, by sharing about our relationship with Jesus Christ. Rely on the Holy Spirit for power, read the Bible, pray, spend time with other believers, and tell people about Jesus, God will produce His character in You and you will mature spiritually. |
