The fallen burn. Oily rags cast upon the eternal pyre
Death waits, watching the smoldering ashes of life
Yet hope remains, as despair tries to consume the fallen with fire
From the ash, my charge rises. Hope has brought new life
He has found his feet

Here stands a man, once an angel, my Angel, fallen from above
I had given my all to become his angel
My all gave him new hope, reminding him of life’s greatest gift: Love
At last, no longer needed, my wings fade away
My service finished

Before each other we stand, one newly risen, one descended
For the first time in our lives we stand as equals
Our love, our bond, is strong and will never need to be defended
Life, separation, and Death could not end our love
We are now complete

Let lose the hounds of Hell, they cannot tear our hearts from each other
And let the fires burn, they will not consume us
Cast doubt upon us, love will restore our faith in one another
For this love is true. It survives all obstacles
Boundless love is ours
