We are dedicating this page to Baskwydion (Gwydion by *Bask X Daloette by Dalul) now deceased. One of his sons, Ibn Baskwydion+, was 1997 and 1999 Region III Champion Trail and 1997 US National Top 10 Trail. Ibn Baskwydion+ was just named 1999 Canadian National Champion Trail Open and 1999 Canadian National Reserve Champion AOTR. As well as numerous National wins.

Baskydion

Although Baskwydion was not our first stallion, he in fact was our first major breeding stallion. He was sired by the pure Polish stallion Gwydion (*Bask X Gwyn) and out of Daloette (Dalul X Do-Burette). His dam line traced back to Bamby (*Raffles X Bambina) and Bur-Zarene (Bu-Zahr X Irayis)

A few years back we had a visit from Mary Silva, the breeder of Bay Abi. Baskwydion's bottom line traces back to all of Mary's breeding. When she returned home to Oregon, she sent us a wonderful thank you letter with original photos of Irayis, Arabi Kabir and Pomona Arayis. We still have them and consider them to be a treasure.
