February 12/01-   Heath Ledger may try to survive the Outback in his next project.  The hunky Patriot star is being eyed by producers to sign on for an untitled film based on the book Mary of Botany Bay.  The story centres on a 1700s British couple who try to escape the Australian penal colony they've been sent to.
