April 2001-   Heath Ledger is nominated for Favourite Male- Newcomer for The Patriot at the 2001 Blockbuster Entertainment Awards which will air April 11th.  Fellow nominees in this category are:  Hugh Jackman (X-Men), James Caviezel (Frequency) and Patrick Fuget (Almost Famous).  Public voting has come and gone for this event but you can check out the other nominees in the many categories at the Blockbuster Awards website.
