Amanda's House for Homeless Women

Amanda's House can house up to 5 single women at one time. During their stay at Amanda's House, residents are given the opportunity to obtain medical attention, to obtain their GED or higher education, and to have access to spiritual counseling and substance abuse counseling. They will also be given access to transportation (i.e. shelter bus, city-wide bus) for job searches and for work. After they have been at work for at least one month, resident's are charged a small monthly rent. Resident's are also expected to save at least 60% of the remainder of their pay in order to secure permanent housing when they leave.
