Tracks 1-2 are listed as being from the Candlemass '85 promo, which I can't verify. These are the same two Candlemass tracks that are bonuses on Metal Blade's CD reissue of the Nemesis "The Day of Retribution" CD. It's possible these are the last tracks from a 1984 Candlemass demo, but I'm unsure if the versions are the same. If they are, these tracks are also on Leif Edling's "Black Heart of Candlemass" CD. Note that the sound is greatly boosted compared to the official Nemesis CD.
Tracks 3-6 are covers of the old Swedish celebrity Sigge Fürst. I'm clueless about Swedish pop (unless you mean the modern Gothenberg scene, >:] ), but I'm assuming all of these songs were indeed originally done by Sigge Fürst. Obviously, these don't sound much like doom metal, being more of a cross between the post-Messiah Candlemass period and (I'm guessing) whatever the original songs sounded like--basically silly, rockin' tunes with heavy guitar. This EP was available on mCD and was put on the reissue of "Chapter VI" as bonustracks.
Tracks 7-8 were special EP re-recordings of "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" tracks with Messiah Marcolin on vocals. I believe these were also on the "Samarithan" 12", and they've appeared on CD already on the "As It Is, As It Was" best-of compilation.
As with the first two tracks, the Nemesis EP (tracks 9-13) sound is greatly boosted compared to the official Metal Blade CD reissue.
Live recording fanatics may note that track 14 is from the same Dynamo Fest as the Exodus "The Great Escape" bootleg. The recording quality is a bit shaky but the band performance/stage banter is excellent.
I have no idea what the last few unlisted tracks are. Most of them sound like intros (track 15 sounds like an alternate intro for "Demon's Gate," for example), so they may be old Nemesis/Candlemass intros. Track 19 is 3 seconds of what sounds like a band counting off to begin a song, again, probably some old Nemesis/Candlemass stuff.
A bit of a disappointing bootleg, since it was already mostly obsolete when it was released, and none of the material that is available elsewhere is particularly rare. It's very convenient to have all these tracks together and the booklet/layout is very nice with plenty of old photos (though why did they include pictures of Messiah from the Mercy era?), but if you have the old Nemesis reissue, that's already half of the bootleg...The live track does seems to be exclusive here on CD, and possibly the unlisted tracks.
