Antonio Sábato's first performance in silver screen was Nino Barlini's role in John Frankenheimer's formula movie Grand Prix (1966). This movie is one of most memorable racing movies with international cast: James Garner, Eva Marie Saint, Toshiro Mifune, Yves Montand and Adolfo Celi.

Movie was a big success, and next unforgettable role was in western Beyond the Law (1967), also starring Bud Spencer (without beard) and Lee Van Cleef. Movie was unusual Spaghetti Western, it was mix of psychologic drama and comedy.

Antonio Sábato played criminals and heroes in 70s. In Seven Blood-Staiden Orchids (1971), directed by Umberto Lenzi, was one of finest Italian giallos in the period. In that movie Sábato has playboy-type character, also starring Marisa Mell, score by Riz Ortolani again. It's a very surprising and exciting movie. Gianfranco Parolini's This Time I'll Make You Rich (1974) was a action comedy with Brad Harris.

In 1985 Antonio Sábato's family moved to United States, California. Then success continued surprisingly: Antonio Sábato's son Antonio Sabato, Jr. (b. 1972) started his career. He is also an actor, familiar in Earth 2 and Melrose Place, also in guest star in Ally McBeal. Like his father, he started his acting career in racing movie Born to Race (1988). Movie wasn't succesful, but nowdays Antonio Sabato, Jr. is a very popular, he is also Calvin Klein-model. There is also many fanpages about him in Internet nowdays.
