That's right, I can officially say:
I STAB PEOPLE

and besides that great perk, it's rather fun.

I fenced at a local club. The Omaha Fencing Club. There I trained under Dan Gufstansun, whose name I can't spell... Also there are James Askew and Horton Simons. After Dan retired it was pretty much us three. So these are my teachers. From Dan I got the basics and method, from James I learned how to attack, and from Horton I learned how to counter.
There were also the people at Sokal. A rougish band of hooligans is a good term for them. Not quite into fencing as other clubs, but they have some fun. They do epee mostly with some sabre on the side. They are lead by Ian, short guy who's really good, albiet insane.

Right now hoever, I'm in Ames Iowa. I hope to be fencing my heart out with the club here. I'm fairly surprised at my skill. After 3 years of being the new guy to beat up on, I can actually fence.
AND IF ANYONE MAKES ANY CRACKS ABOUT CYCLONE FENCES YOU'D BEST BE FARTHER THEN A GOOD JUMP-LUNGE AWAY!

ahem, So if anyone wants to learn to fence, and you're in Ames, I'd be happy to show you the ropes and steel.

The mother of Ken (who would rather lift wieghts then fence...ug) brought her digital camera a couple of times. She gave me a collection of pictures and movies on a CD so I got of bunch of cool stuff to show you.

Movies:
A good clip of me parrying Ken's blade and reposting -450kb
An ok clip of me getting beaten by Ken. -1.2Mb
A Great Clip of James and Glen hitting heads. Turn up your sound. -856Kb

We also have Pictures! And WOW do I have a lot of the same stuff over and over again. Belive me, if you've seen a few of these pictures, you've seen all the pictures of the fencing there are for this club. But here are the pictues that stand out, the cool ones.
Omaha Pictures!
Ames Pictures!?
