We were at the end of the 1st trimester. I have to confess, I had no idea what to expect. I have been raising her 1st child since he was a bit over a year old, so I didn't know what was supposed to take place for these nine months. I have never been through a pregnancy or heard what a pregancy entails. I've been finding out the hard way.

It all started when we were each having one of those stressful weeks. One night we were having an emotional discussion. That night my wife went through some pains that had us concerned. So I did what I usually do when I don't understand something, I got on the net and researched. I have been pretty naive about the intricate details of women and pregancy thus far.

After reading several articles and a few Q&A's, I felt like a total idiot. I know I'm not an idiot, just uninformed. I should've researched this information when we first found out about the pregnancy. I'm glad I researched now! I found some interesting information and will be more on the up and up with what's happening to her. I've always considered myself a teachable man, who believes real men aren't afraid to cry and aren't afraid to watch (what society calls) "chic-flicks."
