Thanks to everyone that came out for our run of "Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train"! It was such a blast to have the
opportunity to play the challenging, intense role of Angel Cruz. It was also a pleasure to work with such a great
cast and crew. I'm truly sad that it's over. We're talking serious widthdrawl here.
However, we may do a few more encore performances in October, so those of you that missed it the first time around may get
a second chance. Stay tuned!

This is going to be a very exciting month for me. I have a lead role in a really great play called "Jesus Hopped
the 'A' Train" by Stephen Adly Guirgis. It's being put on by the Fellowship Theatre Guild and it's directed by
Carol Verburg. I like the was the SF Weekly describes the play
here.
(Search for the word "Jesus".)
I also get to work with the very talented Nell Schwartz again, whom I acted with in "The Cherry Orchard".

When it rains it pours. In one weekend I had two different film shoots: "Night Falls Over Broadway",
directed by Reiko Asnieres, and "Ain't Got Game", directed by Dave Anselmi.
"Ain't Got Game" really brought home one of the big differences between theater and film - playing off another actor vs.
the camera. I was very excited by the fact that also working on this production were friends like Jen Dean, Eric Rice,
and Rob Dario, but even though our characters were speaking to each other, we the actors were never even in the same room
together! Except for Eric. He was in the same room.

This month I performed in the play "The Woman in Armor", written by Anna Budd and directed by Carl Thelin. It's
a play about a not-so-distant dystopian future where the government can take over your debts and make you work them off.
It was presented as part of the Bay Area One Acts
Festival 4 (B.O.A.), a four week festival featuring fourteen different original one-act plays written by Bay Area
playrights. "The Woman in Armor" ran the fourth week of the festival along with two other plays.

Yes, that's me in the A.C.T. program for the play "The Gamester". It's a picture from the Studio A.C.T. production of
of "The Cherry Orchard" in which I played Lopakhin. You can also see the picture on the A.C.T.
actor training main page or in the A.C.T.
Annual Report.

I need some sleep! We just wrapped an all-night shoot for the action film "Symphony of the Fallen: Origin",
written and directed by Sheldon Callahan. Check out their
website for the trailer, screenshots from
the footage and other information on the project. Plus, the site has an impressive demo reel that showcases the martial
arts choreography and CGI technology used in the film. Definitely check that out.
