Places where it is illegal to own a pet hedgehog:

States:
California
Vermont
Georgia

Cities:
Denver, CO.
New York City, NY.

Counties:
Fairfax County, VA.

There are some places where you need to obtain a permit if you are keeping a hedgehog, and so far the only one that I have down for sure is the state of Arizona.
