Short reportage about U.H. Conquest Tour concert in Udine/Italy - 06/30/1980
...at this time, my friend Paul and me,were very excited to go and see Uriah Heep and his new vocalist
John Sloman, and new drummer Chris Slade. At 19.00 pm. the palasport was full of 5,000 people...
Concert begun at 21.45 and the first song was Stealin' ...Great performances were done from the Conquest album, like Feelings, Out in the Street, Carry On, It Ain't Easy & No Return, where Ken Hensley used a special "rattle" effect. The new frontman, John Sloman, was a stricking
replacement for Heep's previous strong vocalist John Lawton and the girls
among the audience must have been instantly captivated by his performance
- a truly visual and energetic performer who knows what he's got and flaunts it!....
The stage effects were excellent. Flashes and well time lights synchronised
perfectly with the songs, and at the end of the show, a great pink and white
lights flashing encircled Chris Slade around the drum riser.
There was a two hours and half of a very great concert of cool music.

I believe this was been certain the last time of Ken Hensley with Uriah Heep.
But his professionality and passion for U.H. project were the same of
the beginning....
