Concerto Grosso

Fantastic itaprog album by New Trolls, probably their best known work. This is a successful effort to mix classical music with long suites of itaprog music. Soundtrack composer Luis Bacalov directed and arranged the recordings for this album.

Nico Di Palo (guitars, bass, voices), Vittorio De Scalzi(guitars, keyboards, flauti, voices), Mauro Chiarugi (keyboards), George D' Adamo (bass), Gianni Belleno (drums) form the group of the New Trolls. The " legend " tells that the four are met to Genoa in 1966, having read a newspaper article that cites them like the best genovesi musicians of the moment. They decide therefore to begin to work together. Debuttano as group in same the year and comes endured invites to you to open the Italian concerts of the Rolling Stones. In 1967 it exits their first single " Feelings ", with originates them psichedeliche atmospheres.

Formano il gruppo dei New Trolls Nico Di Palo (chitarre, basso, voci), Vittorio De Scalzi (chitarre, tastiere, flauti, voci), Mauro Chiarugi (tastiere), Giorgio D'Adamo (basso), Gianni Belleno (batteria). La "leggenda" racconta che i quattro si incontrano a Genova nel 1966, avendo letto un articolo di giornale che li cita come i migliori musicisti genovesi del momento. Decidono quindi di iniziare a lavorare insieme. Debuttano come gruppo nello stesso anno e vengono subito invitati ad aprire i concerti italiani dei Rolling Stones. Nel 1967 esce il loro primo singolo "Sensazioni", con originali atmosfere psichedeliche.
