First of all, this is a slightly different timeline than my last fic.
So while most of the characters are the same, their relationships to each 
other may
be slightly different.

Second, the only characters I own are Ashtear, Jade, Silverlight & Kael. The 
rest belong
to somebody else, so don't even ASK!!

Finally, the chars may be acting a bit out of character, but don't be 
alarmed, afterall,
this is FICTION!!! Not to be taken seriously. So there. Welp, here we 
goooo!!!

ASHTEAR...



In this world, sometimes, life makes some little suprises. For the gundam 
pilots, this came in a sequence.
Two years after the destruction of OZ, a new threat to the planet appeared. 
It's code name was Zoah. Zoah,
was a conspiracy between the colonies of space to literally take over the 
earth, using the new science of cloneing
to create supersoldiers. Now, the gundam pilots had a new project to work 
on. Right about this time, Duo had a rather
bad falling out with Hilde when he discovered that she had been seeing 
someone else on the side recently.
The two split up and he was fairly heartbroken for one of the two years. At 
around Christmas time though, he got a
surprise. A young girl approached Trowa (who was now their unofficial 
leader) and asked him if she could be trained to
be a gundam pilot. This tall, willowy girl with knee length raven hair, 
bright aqua eyes, and pale skin introduced herself as
Kael Higurashi. Trowa thought about it, and after being bugged to death for 
three weeks straight, decided that she would
be trained under Duo. His reasoning on this was that he himself would be too 
strict, Quatre wouldn't be strict enough, Wufei wouldn't
even consider it (she's female afterall) and Heero would frighten her. So 
Duo it was. Duo and Kael were both perfectly fine with
this, and, by Christmas, had a "very" good relationship. Around Jan 20th the 
next year, Duo got together with Heero and Trowa and
aproached them about the subject of forming a rock band to raise extra money 
and have fun. They started work and soon were
teen idols. After Jade showed up, she volunteered to be a back up dancer, 
and wound up as a dancer/singer after stunning them
all with her voice. And all the while, the gundam pilots had been working up 
a plan to destroy Zoah and save the earth.
Now, as they relax at the Winner mansion, a whole new "surprise" is about to 
manifest....

Trowa is in the kitchen making sandwhiches and having a friendly chat with 
Relena, the two had become very close over the past
few months, and Trowa visited often.

Trowa: So, what would you like on your sandwhich Relena?

Relena: Oh,just ham, cheese and mayo thanks.

Trowa: *smiles* I should have known, your tastes haven't changed in years..

Relena; Thats nonsense!!

Trowa: Is it?

Relena:....Anyway, I'll get the drinks if you like.

Trowa: That would be a big help.

Duo: *yelling from the living room* Aren't those sandwhiches done yet!!? Or 
are you makn' out with the princess back there! H..hey..
you better not be lettn' HER make the sandwhiches!!!

Relena: *sighs* I don't know how I put up with them..

Trowa: You don't deserve that kind of treatment..

Relena: Oh, but I know Duo doesn't mean it..

Trowa: I was talking about Heero.

Relena:...

Trowa: Look, he doesn't love you, you know that. Why do you stay with him?

Relena:...I....I just....

Trowa: There's better people for you than him. People who really care about 
you.

Relena: Like who?

Trowa looks away for a moment..

Trowa: Like Quatre for instance...

Relena: I could never marry him! Dorothy's got him on a leash, and besides, 
he's just not..my type...

Trowa: Well...I don't know what to say miss Relena...except...

Relena: Except?

Trowa gets down on one knee and takes Relena's hand as she stands there 
stunned.

Trowa: Would you give this poor fool a chance? I know I'm not much, but, at 
least I care....

Trowa slips a dimond engagement ring on Relena's finger.

Relena: T..Trowa...I ..I never...knew.....Oh Trowa...Of course I'll marry 
you!!!

Relena drops down on Trowa giving him a warm hug and an ardent kiss.

Trowa: Relena...

Relena puts one finger on Trowa's mouth to silence him and smiles at him, 
then the two quietly get up and take lunch
out to the impatient pilots.

Duo: Hey, took ya long enough....hey...whats up? Why the funny grin Barton??

Trowa: Well, lets just say..I feel like I've saved someone a lot of 
pain...*looks at Relena standing next to him who is also smiling..*

Everyone gathers around...

Quatre: Relena, where'd you get that ring from? It's pretty!

Wufei: Barton! Why would you commit yourself to such a pitiful weak 
female!!?

Relena whaps Wufei on the head with a yard stick...

Wufei: INJUSTICE!!!

Everyone else : whatever....

Duo: Soooo, Trowa popped the Question!! Wow! I didn't think Mr. Silence here 
had it in him!!!

Jade: Thats soo cool! Congratulations Trowa and Relena!!

Kael: Woah! That thing is soo pretty! Duo! I want one!!

Duo: *super blush* ehhh....well...uhmmm.....I..gotta go to the rest 
room...be right back!! *zooms off*

Everyone else: .....*sweatdrop*

The only one not saying anything is Heero, who is sitting on the couch away 
from the other pilots and Relena.

Relena: Heero?

Heero: What?

Relena: Are you okay?

Heero: Is there a reason I shouldn't be?

Relena: Uhmm..no, of course not.

Just then,  everyone hears the sound of a motorcycle roaring up the drive..
Everyone crowds to the window (except Heero, who refuses to leave the 
couch.) A dark red motercycle
pulls up to the front steps. A slender girl gets off, as she takes off her 
black helmet, she reveals that she has
black-brown hair and green eyes. She looks up at the mansion uncertainly and 
heads up the front steps.
After knocking a few times, Quatre opens the door...

Quatre: Can I help you?

Girl: Hi, My name is Ashtear Emeraude and I'm looking for Chang Wufei. 
*grin*

Everyone facefaults...including Wufei.

Wufei: A...Ashtear!!? Wh..what...I mean..how...How did you find me!??

Ashtear: *still smiling* Oh, a girl has her ways. Can I come in?

Quatre: *recovering from his shock* Uh, certainly!!

Heero is finally curious enough to get up from the couch, and looks at the 
girl..

Heero: Well, you certainly don't LOOK like the type of girl that would go 
out with Wufei...

Ashtear: ME...date HIM!!? What kind of girl do I look like!

Heero: Well, you WERE looking for him, weren't you?

Ashtear: Well DUH! He IS my big brother afterall...

Everyone facefaults again...

Heero gets up slowly like he has just strained his back..

Heero: Older...brother....?! wtf!?

Trowa: It's a pleasure to meet you Ashtear.

Ashtear: Pleasure's mine, but, Ash is fine.

Relena: Ash, are you hungry? Would you like a sandwhich?

At this point, Duo is returning from the "bathroom"

Duo: Nooooo!!! Whatever you do lady, DON'T let that woman make ANY type of 
food for you!! EVER!!

Trowa whips out a gun, taking Duo COMPLETLY by suprise...

Trowa: Omae o korosu, Maxwell- kun...

Duo: Ack!!! What the....oh ya, she's YOUR woman now...*sigh* I'll never get 
this straight....

After a moment, Duo notices the cute brunett in the leather jacket, white 
tank top, faded blue denim cutoffs,
and combat boots.

Duo: Heyy....who are YOU???? *insert hentai grin here.*

Ash: I'm Ash, I'm Wufei's younger sister.

Duo facefaults all by himself cause everyone else is over the shock...

Wufei: What are you doing weak baby sister...

Ash pulls out a sukinada..( like this kinda...  
-------------------------)------------------------------------------------.....k?)

Wufei: I mean...I'm happy to see my most competent little sister!!

Ash: *Nods* Chang, you haven't changed at all.

Quatre: Would you like a chibi moon sticker?

Trowa and Heero both whap Quatre on the head..

Quatre: owww...

Ash: I came here because I know you're helping with the crisis that's 
currently going on and I want to help
too.

Wufei: ABSOLUTELY NOT!! This is a dangerous place where only Strong manly 
men should be!! Not weak
little sisters!!!

Relena, Ash, Jade, and Kael, and everyone but Wufei: .....*sweatdrop*

Relena, Ash, Jade, and Kael all start to beat up Wufei.

Ash, Jade, Relena, and Kael: DIE SEXIST PIG!!!!!!!

Trowa: I'd like to help  but...

Heero: Some things...

Quatre: You've just gotta handle on your own...

Wufei: *badly beaten and bruised* 
i....n...........jus....ti.........ce..........*passes out*

Ash: Well then, anyone want to help me unpack?

Ash spent the next few weeks getting to know everyone, She asked if she 
could join the band as a second backup dancer/singer,
and was soon the newest female member of the group "Distortion". She even 
had a few run in's with Heero, who didn't seem to
care about her one way or the other. The first time, was when she showed up 
for her audition. She had heard of Heero's
reputation, so wasn't suprised when she saw him eyeing her suspisiosly. She 
did suprise HIM however, by boldly walking up to him.

Ash: Let's get one thing straight. If you don't try to destroy me, I won't 
try to destroy you. k?

Heero: *gets ready to whip his gun out* Omae-

Ash  counters by whiping her own gun out from under her leather jacket 
before he even reaches...

Ash: *shakes her head* uh-uhhh...*smiles at Heero as she puts her gun away* 
none of that buddy.

Heero is too stunned to  say anything, so he just snorts and looks away...

"Heero": I can't believe she did that!.....I've..never met...any 
girl...like..her....

After that, Heero decided he needed to  do some "research" on this new 
person, to determine weather she is an obstacle or not.
little does he know, that she is an obstacle he will never overcome...
As he passes by the enormous training hall early one morning, he notices 
that it is in use. This is odd since he is usually the only one
up at this time of the morning. As he peers in the doorway, he sees Ashtear 
practicing with her sukinada. Heero quietly pics up a
katana and strolls into the training hall....

Ash: If you're trying to sneak up, It won't work.

Heero is startled that she knew he was there, but continues on  calmly.

Heero: why's that?

Ash: because I'm a ninja.

Heero:...

Heero makes a random strike with the katana, only to be countered perfectly 
by Ash. Heero attacks again, using more measured
strikes this time.

Ash ducks and swipes at his feet, forcing him to jump into the air to avoid 
having his feet lobbed off. As he was comming down,
She lept into the air and kicked him in the head, knocking him to the 
ground. Heero struggled to his feat, reeling.

"Heero": Damn! She's too fast!!

Heero gets up and makes a final, desperate attack. he reaches out to punch 
Ash straight in the face, as he does so, she grabs his
outstreached arm and proceeds to flip him straight over her body.
Heero lands on his back with a loud "thud"
Ash reaches a hand out to Heero, Heero smacks her hand away.

Heero: I can get up by myself thanks.

Ash: I know, but my code of honor says I must offer anyway.

Heero just looks at her, not knowing what to say...

Ash: You fight well.

Heero: ......And you as well.

Heero turns and leaves Ash standing in the middle of the training hall.
Later that night, Heero lays on his back in  his rather empty room think 
deep,  deep thoughts...

"Heero": I know she's an obstacle, but...somehow..I don't want to destroy 
her...how can I not want to destroy something thats
in my way..? ...I..I....ARGHHH!!!!

At this point, Heero  has a little mental crisis not unlike another favorite 
anime char of mine, so lets not bother him anymore.

A week later Heero comes downstairs to eat his favorite cerial....yeah 
yeah...it's still cocoa puffs..
He sees that everyone is already downstairs and that Wufei seems to already 
be angry about something...

Wufei: Yuy!! What kind of things are you teaching my sister!!?

Heero: *looks at Trowa* what is he talking about?

Wufei: INJUSTICE!!!  Do not play dumb with me  Yuy!! I know you are trying 
to corrupt my weak little sister to your evil will!!!
*gets out his Katana*

Heero: *gets out his gun* Omae o korosu....

Wufei: *quickly putting his katana away* ...I mean...I would be honored..to 
have such a strong person in my familly...

Heero sits down and gets out his cocoa puffs.
Everyone else gets their respective breakfasts and sits at the table. There 
is a bit of silence...and finally...

Wufei: Inj-

Heero whips his gun out again...

Wufei:...

Duo: Oooohhhh...looks like SOMEBODY likes a certain biker girl!!!

Heero swings the gun around so that it pokes Duo in the nose...

Duo: I gotcha! don't gotta ask me twice..nope! * continues eating his lucky 
charms..*

Ash: *laughs* Is breakfast always this funny?

Trowa: Unfortunately yes...

The next morning was even better though...
Ashtear woke up to find that Quatre had been sleep walking and aparently was 
dreaming about his favorite teddy bear.
He was wrapped around Ash's midsection, squeezing it tightly...

Ash: Qu...Quatre??? what are you going?

Quatre: mm....hmhhmmm....tteeeddyyy......numnumnum....

Ash: *sweatdrop*

Just as she is about to carefully remove Quatre from around her middle, 
Wufei wakes up. (She is sharring his room till her apartment
is ready.) He sees poor Quatre, and of course, gets the wrong idea....

Wufei: Quatre! what are you doing to my sister!!?

Quatre just snuggles more into Ash and mumbles about his teddy...
Wufei picks up Quatre by his hair and starts to drag him out of the room. He 
drags Quatre back to his own room and Quatre, though
he got bruised up going up the stairs, never woke up.
Wufei went back downstairs.

Wufei: you see how weak you are little sister? You could not even get weak 
feminine Winner off of you!!

Ash: *whaps Wufei* I was about to do that until a certain overbrearing older 
brother stepped in...

Wufei: INJUSTICE!!!

Ash: whatever...

Ash gets bored, so she goes down the hall to see what everyone else is 
doing...
As she passes by Duo's room she hears him talking in his sleep. So, she goes 
to investigate..
As she enters the room she sees that Duo is wrapped around his comfortor...
She sneaks up quietly...

Duo: hmmmmuffuffuff....aahhoooOOoooOOO....K...a...e....l.....do dat...oh 
ya...Ya!

Ash: *giggle*

Ash climbs onto the bed to hear him better. But when she does so, he reaches 
out and grabs her in his sleep...
As his dream continues, he starts to grab her chest. She pushes him off 
rather hard and starts to get up to leave
when our braided death god wakes up...

Duo: H...huh??? Wasss going oonn?? H..hey!! My dream..it came true!...oh 
wait..yer not Kael...
Still...

Ash: what in the nine hells are you talkin' about!?

Duo: come on..don't try and hide it! you want me..

Ash: you MUST be joking..by the way...did you know you were grabbing me in 
your sleep?

Duo: really? let me check..*reaches for her chest*

Ash: *smacks his hand* what are you doing!!?

Duo: I'm just checking to see if it's true!! *feels her chest for a moment*
He...hey, you're right! those ARE the one's from my dream!!! Can I feel 
again?

Ash:*smacks Duo* NO!!

Duo: *refusing to let go* awww..come on!!

At this moment, Wufei just "happens" to be walking by Duo's room. He sees 
the situation, and overreacts as usual...

Wufei: MAXWELL!! WHAT IN THE NINE HELLS ARE YOU DOING WITH MY 
SISTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????

Duo: OH SHIT!! uhmm..it..it was..nothing...

Wufei bludgeons Duo unconsious with the handle of his katana and starts to 
drag him off down the hall by his braid, Katana in hand..
Ash chases after him....

Ash: What are you going to do!?

Wufei: Scalp him of course..

Ash flips Wufei over her shoulder and knocks him out just as Duo is waking 
up...

Duo: ehhh...? Diiddddddddzzzummmonnneee gets tha numbur of zzaatt 
bussshhh???* shakes his head*
Huh? whats going on?

Ash: my brother was going to scalp you.

Duo passes out again, Ash goes to see what Trowa's doing....

As Ashtear creeps up to Trowa, she hears him snorring. Giggling, Ash takes 
out a tape recorder and starts to record it.
suddenly, Trowa aims a gun at Ash's head, then opens his eyes..

Trowa: give me the tape.

Ash pouts a little but hands it over..

Ash finds Heero's room and sits next to the bed.

Heero: I've already woken up, and excorsised, let me sleep.

Ash:...okay..

Ash puts the blankets over Heero and leaves quietly.
Everyone hordes over and looks over at Heero and mutters...

Everyone: *wispering* Lucky S.O.B.

Heero smiles in his sleep...

Ashtear goes upstairs to Quatre's room and finds him just waking up...
Ashtear taps him on the shoulder and he jumps and holds his shoulder..

Ash: whats wrong?

Quatre: I think it's bruised

Ash: thats because you were sleep walking and you glomped onto me thinking I 
was your teddy and then Wufei got pissed
at you and dragged you back to your room by your hair.

Quatre:.....

Ash: *kisses Quatre's shoulder* there, all better!

Quatre: thanks!!

"Ash": He's so innocent....I almost wanna babysit him...

Ash: Wufei, you're not allowed to beat up Quatre anymore.

Wufei: And who will stop me weak girl??

Ash kicks Wufei's ass...

Wufei: You see! I am still alive! you are weak!!!

Ash kicks wufei's ass some more...

Wufei: I..am...s...t..i..ll....a...l..i..ve......

Ash: *sigh* you may be alive, but now you have to go to the hospital...

Quatre gets up and calls the ambulance while Trowa and Duo take Wufei 
downstairs to the living room...
The ambulance takes Wufei to the hospital, where they claim he has no 
serious wounds and keep him over night for
observation. Everyone else goes about their day...Trowa, Quatre, and the 
other tenents at the winner mansion (except for Heero and
Wufei) Help Ashtear move into her new apartment...

However..that evening.....two things happened that would change the 
pilots...mostly....heh...

Duo lays on his bed and looks up at the ceiling...

Duo: Man...I'm so...*sigh* but Kaels probly in bed..but then...thats never 
stopped me before...

Just as Duo is about to go wake up Kael, he sees Ash pass by his room. She 
stops at the end of the hall,
knocks on Heero's door, and enters. Curiosity piqued, Duo climbs into the 
vent to see whats going on...
He peers through the vent at heero's room...

Ashtear crawls onto the bed next to Heero...

"Duo": what's she doin??

Ash: Whatcha doin up so late?

Heero: I could ask you the same thing....

Ash: I just couldn't sleep, caffeen I guess.

Heero: Thats a feasable answer.

Ash: What are you thinking?

Heero: I am thinking about the gundams..

"Duo": figures..borrinnggg...

but in truth....

"Heero": *sigh* she sure is different. I've never felt this way before. Is 
she..an obstacal??...No...I don't think so...

Ash: You..don't want to hurt other people, right?

Heero: Or vise versa.

Ash: You don't want people to hurt you?

Heero: Perhaps.

Ash: I wouldn't hurt you.

Heero: You don't know that. You might do it without knowing you're doing it.

Ash: But how could I?

"Heero": God! Is she really THAT innocent??!

Heero: You just could.

Ash: Do you think anyone is evesdropping?

"Duo": yes! it's finnaly gettn' good!

Heero: No, not at this time of night.

"Duo": no one ever suspects Shinigami!! hahahahaahahahaa!!!

Ash: Then, tell me your feelings.

Heero: why?

Ash: You're having new feelings right?

Heero:...

Ash: And you don't know what to do, so you're trying to supress them.

"Heero": Does she know me THAT well already!?

Ash: which is why you should let them out! because if you bottle them up, 
eventually, they'll explode and
you could have a break down, or end up hurting yourself or somebody else.

Heero: ...

Ash: So now, I'm going to share my feelings. Will you share yours?

Heero:........a...alright.

Ash: Heero, I like you.

Heero: I...like you..too...

Ash: How much?

Heero: probly mutual to the way you like me....

Ash: I don't  think I've ever felt this strongly about any man before.

Heero nods in agreement...

Ash: So, what should we do?

Heero: I..I don't..know....

Ash scoots nervously closer to Heero, & Heero lifts his arm and pulls her 
into his strong embrace.

Heero: I've never felt like this before..Ash?

Ash: Yes Heero?

Heero: Teach me...

Ash: Teach you??

Heero: Teach me  how to love.

Ash reaches upward with her head to timidly kiss Heero's lips which are 
trembling in spite of himself.
Heero wraps his arms around Ashtear and returns her kiss ardently and with 
emotions multiplied ten fold.
When they broke, he gazed directly into her eyes with his intense, storm 
colored eyes. A small smile crossed his lips.

Heero: You should go back to your room & get some sleep.

Ash: *clinging tightly to Heero*  I don't want to leave you.

Heero: *smiling gently* (gasp!!!) You'll see me tomorrow.

Ash: yes, you're right. Good night Heero.

"Duo": awwww mannn...even Heero's gettn some!! this sucks...I'm goin' back 
to bed...
hmm...maybe she'll give ME some too!! Of course she will, I AM Shinigami 
afterall, Women can't resist me!!

Heero: Good night Ash.

As Ashtear walks out into the hall, she is aproached by a very desperate 
looking Duo...

Duo: Is it my turn?

Ash: For what?

Duo: You know....

Duo goes to grab one of Ashes breasts, but as he does so, Heero magically 
appears in the hallway in his jammies
holding a gun.

Heero: Omae o korosu, Maxwell.

Duo: what, WHAT!? I wasn't doin' nothin'!! Geez...can't a guy go see his 
girlfriens at 2:30 in the morning?? HUH!!?
Sheesh...

Duo stalks off down the hall trying to hide his fear...

Ash & Heero: *sweatdrop*....

Duo continued down the hall and up the stairs to Kaels room. Kael was asleep 
in her bed wearing a cute little flannel
nightgown and looking like an innocent little angel. He took one look at her 
sleeping form and couldn't bare to wake her.

"Duo": *sigh* you better be worth this....

Duo walked over to the bed and layed down. With a warm smile he wrapped his 
arms around the sleeping girl. Kael latched onto
him in her sleep and Duo settled in for the rest of the night.

"Duo": Heh, A year ago I wouldn't have hesitated to wake her up, 
and...well...you know, ...God do you KNOW!!
But now...heh, I guess time really does change a guy...Now that I think 
about it, I probably didn't treat Hilde as good as I
should have...This time though..I know what to do....
