The ZERO System

The ZERO system is system used in the Gundam Wing Zero, hence the name, and Epyon. The word ZERO stands for Zoning & Emotional Range Omitted System. "In plain English, it literally translates out (from Japanese) to Territorial-Shifting and Reflex-Level Deficiency-Altering System. Or more nicely put - Range and Reflex Boosting System."((quoted from www.gundamwing.net)) Each of the pilots have been subjected to the zero system.
The system it self is a part of the cockpit system for the Gundams. It was first used in the Gundam Wing Zero. The concept was originated from the scientists but was perfected and put to use my Quatre Raberba Winner. The Zero system allows you to perform extremely well in combat but has some side effects. It increases your reflexes and abitly to figure out the situation. The Zero system show you your enemy, the problem is to what extent. The Pilots that use the Zero system have hallutionations. We will now go into detail on all the pilots reactions to the zero system.
Here is what they all saw:
Heero Yuy
What they saw?
It was not mentioned what Heero Saw in the normal series. Just that he was shown his enemy which happened to be anyone that was trying to kill him. But in the Endless Waltz Set it showed what heero saw. During a mission where he destroyed an oz base a small girl and her puppy were killed because one of the mobile suits fell on an apartment building. Heero blamed himself for her death and still carries the guilt. He saw this in the Zero system but never obtained the answer of why.
How are they on it?
Heero was the only of the 5 pilots to use the zero system effectivly and regularly. Even though he saw the girl die over and over agian he was the only one to look past it and still be efficent in the Zero System.
Duo Maxwell
What they saw?
Duo saw his enemy in the zero system. While on the system Duo saw himself as his worst enemy. He witness himself destroying others and knew what he was truly capable of.
How are they on it?
Duo could not handle the zero system. He was only on it once.
Trowa Barton
What they saw?
(Unknown, but I'm checking)
How are they on it?
Trowa could not handle the zero system. He was only on it once.
Quatre Raberba Winner
What they saw?
Quatre saw that the world was his enemy and the world was destroying itself so neede to be destroyed. He lost all his humanity and vision. Quatre is the first one we see ont he zero system.
How are they on it?
Quatre was really messed up and it for awhile but after we thought he killed Trowas and tried to kill Heero he snapped out of it. He later effectively used a smaller version of the zero system to take over leadership of the team.
Wufie Chang
What they saw?
Wufie saw a measurement of his own guilt. He saw himself responsible for the destruction of his conlony.
How are they on it?
Wufie could not handle the zero system. He was only on it once.
Zechs Marquise
What they saw?
"In the Zero system Zechs saw himself destroying the peacemillion space craft and having the head of Gundam Wing Zero being knocked of by one of Altron's eagle claws."-by NetmasterDBZ@cs.com
How are they on it?
Zechs was the only other pilot able to handle the zero system. It appeared he did not have as much problem with the system as the younger pilots. This could be because of experience or age.
