| I was sitting watching Buffy about a month ago or so ago and I started thinking about all the different 'shipper sites on the web, conventional and unconventional. One of the first that came to mind was Spike and Buffy which I can't even to begin to imagine (I'm not going to flame any Spike and Buffy fans. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.) since I am a die hard Buffy and Angel fan to the end (which seems to have happened but I can still hope). To me it seems that Buffy can't stand him and with Spike it seems sort of like sibbling rivalry with Angel, wanting what the older 'brother' has but unable to have it. Then I saw Spike and Dawn together and thought that they are great together. Dawn has a crush on him but she seems to trust him unconditionally and can see that he has changed and that it's not just the chip. Spike seems to genuinely care for her and isn't just trying to impress Buffy. The have a great chemistry together that may evenyually lead to some type of deeper relationship, being either a deep friendship or romance. |
