Parent-Teacher Conference

Daddy met with Mrs. Imp, Gus's teacher, to discuss his progress in the 3rd grade. (Incidentally, Mrs. Imp lives across the street from Gus's daycare lady. Weird, eh?) Mrs. Imp said Gus is a great kid, is horribly smart, and is doing very well in school. His math and reading skills are top notch, along with his map skills. What else would you expect?!

This is one of Gus's math worksheets. Notice the use of negative numbers in the lower right corner. He pretty much taught himself that, as it wasn't covered much in class, and Daddy hadn't yet gotten around to introducing him to negative numbers.

This is one of Gus's spelling tests. His printing is very good, isn't it? And he's got Gramma Nancy's talent for spelling.
