Gus loved archery Each scout group made their own flag.  The camp theme was 'Jungle Book' and Gus's group was 'Bagheera.'  The flag says 'Welcome to the Jungle.' Gus saw this fellow on a hike
The scouts learned about geology at camp as one of the requirements for advancement to Boy Scouts.  Here is Gus's rendering of a volcanic eruption.  At right, note the village in the lava's path and the people being plunked by burning cinders. Gus on stage during his pack's skit at the end-of-camp program Gus's pack won the 'Best Pack' award.
